She has been a part of the band for nine years and choir for six years. Melody has had the privilege of being a part of the Illinois Honors All-State Choir as well. Melody plans to attend a four-year university to obtain a degree in teaching. “I joined the CEO program because I would like to improve my public speaking skills. After seeing what lessons the CEO program has taught the alumni, I am confident I will achieve my goal of becoming a strong-willed leader. I look forward to meeting new people and seeing what the future holds! I cannot wait to grow stronger not only as a person, but with my peers as well.”
